Blast in Khuzdar claims three lives, leaves seven injured

At least three people were killed and seven others injured on Wednesday following an explosion in Khuzdar's Nall area, officials said. According to Express News, the blast occurred near a college in the Nall area of Khuzdar, with authorities confirming the fatalities and casualties. The police stated that three people were killed and seven others were injured in the blast. The bodies and the wounded have been transferred to Nall Hospital for treatment. Authorities are currently working to determine the nature of the explosion. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the recent incident, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives. He directed authorities to provide the best possible medical care for the injured. “Terrorism will be eliminated at all costs, and anti-peace elements will not succeed in their nefarious designs,” he added. The blast occurred a day after security forces successfully foiled an attack by Fitna al-Khawarij on Bannu Cantonment, killing all 16 terrorists involved. In the clash, five soldiers embraced martyrdom, while 13 innocent civilians lost their lives and 32 others were injured, the military's media wing reported. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five brave soldiers attained martyrdom in the confrontation, and the terrorists, in their desperation, rammed two explosive-laden vehicles into the cantonment walls. The suicide bombings caused a portion of the cantonment wall to collapse. ISPR also called on the Afghan government to prevent its territory from being used for attacks against Pakistan, asserting that Pakistan reserves the right to take necessary actions against threats originating from across its borders.
